Oman Flour Mills Officially Launches as Atyab Group, Marking Five Decades of Growth Across Oman's Food Value Chain
Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
(Date), (Month), 2026
Atyab Group, formerly known as Oman Flour Mills, today announced the launch of its new corporate identity, marking the formal recognition of a transformation that has been underway for nearly five decades. What began as a single milling operation established in 1977 has grown into a diversified food group operating across 15 companies and spanning the full food value chain.
An Evolution, Not a Disruption
The transition from Oman Flour Mills to Atyab Group is not a change in the business. It is the business naming itself accurately. Over the past five decades, the Group has expanded beyond flour milling into feed production, poultry, dairy, bakeries, beverages, laboratory services, and investments building an increasingly integrated presence across the food value chain.
The name Atyab is not new. It already exists within the Group and carries recognised equity in the market. Adopting it as the Group identity builds on that trust rather than replacing it.
No change has been made to the company's Commercial Registration number, ownership structure, board composition, or management. All existing contracts, certifications, supply agreements, and product specifications remain fully valid. Flour and animal feed remain core business activities.
CEO Quote
Commenting on this new milestone for the company, Haitham Al Fanna, Chief Executive Officer of Atyab Group said: "Atyab Group is not a new company. It is the right name for a company that has been building for nearly fifty years. We started with flour and we have never stopped expanding our role in Oman's food system. This identity reflects what we are today across production, processing, supply, and investment, and it positions us clearly for what comes next in terms of a stronger regional presence and a deeper contribution to the markets we serve."
He added: “This transition is a statement of confidence in what we have built, in the teams that have built it, and in the partners and communities that have trusted us along the way. Our commitments remain unchanged. Our products remain unchanged. What changes is that our name now reflects our full reality."
What Atyab Group Represents
Atyab Group is a national diversified food group spanning the food value chain. It operates across production, processing, and supply through a portfolio of companies and brands, contributing to food availability, supply reliability, and economic value creation across the markets it serves.
What Is Not Changing
Stakeholders across all segments should note the following:
Commercial Registration number remains unchanged
Ownership, board, and executive management remain unchanged
All contracts, pricing agreements, and supply terms remain valid
All certifications and quality standards remain in force
Product quality, specifications, and SKUs remain unchanged
Operations, logistics, and invoicing continue without disruption
Flour and animal feed remain core business activities
A Transition Built on Trust
The Group has engaged its key stakeholders including investors, government bodies, commercial partners, and employees ahead of the public announcement to ensure that the rationale behind the transition is clearly understood across all audiences.
The rollout of the new identity will be phased and managed to protect business continuity. Visual identity changes across signage, packaging, and communications will be implemented in a structured sequence, with operational functions unaffected throughout.
Atyab Group's strategy remains anchored in institutional trust, diversified presence across the food value chain, supply reliability, and sustainable value creation, which are the same principles that have defined the organisation for nearly five decades.
